Summary/Abstract: A properly organized subject-developmental environment in a preschool education institution is an important factor in a child's full development and positive socialization. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the organization and improvement of such an environment in order to ensure favorable conditions for the comprehensive creative development of preschoolers. The theoretical aspects of the professional training of educators for the creation of a developmental environment and the practical implementation of the main principles of the subject-developmental environment, taking into account its important components (educational programs, methodical literature, material and technical base, etc.) are studied. Special attention is paid to issues of establishing interaction between educators and children, evaluating the effectiveness of the innovative environment and ways of its further improvement. An important place in highlighting the main aspects of the problem of arranging the educational space of preschool institutions belongs to the issue of resource provision of the subject-developmental environment in preschool education institutions. The main approaches, principles, methods, and forms of the educator's work with children in a developmental environment are analyzed. Particular attention is focused on the issue of creating a safe educational environment, which becomes especially relevant during the period of martial law in Ukraine. The article provides practical recommendations for teachers and methodologists regarding planning, organization, and improvement of the subject-developmental environment in order to increase the effectiveness of the educational process in preschool education institutions.
