THE CONCEPT OF NATIONAL PATRIOTIC EDUCATION IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF UKRAINE AND EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL VALUES: COMMON FEATURES

Summary/Abstract: In the article, the authors analyzed normative documents in the field of national education of youth of Ukraine and European countries. In particular, the researchers showed the weak and strong sides of the education system both in Ukraine, referring to the Concept of national-patriotic education in the education system, and in Europe. During the coverage of the issue, contributors noted that military-patriotic education is represented more powerfully in Ukraine today than other components, such as: civic-patriotic education, moral-spiritual education, and environmental education. At the same time, it was emphasized that the document was demanded by society, after its signing a number of gaps in the system of education of Ukrainian youth were closed. The main blocks of education are defined, on which the main attention is concentrated in the documents. It was emphasized that this document incorporates the best traditions of Ukraine and Europe, which promotes all those values that are enshrined in a number of domestic and European laws, such as national and international orientation; equality for all people; anti-racism and non-discrimination; representation and rule of law; human dignity, human rights, solidarity, freedom; humanism; interpersonal relationships; peace and international understanding; intercultural education; environmental awareness.
