Summary/Abstract: The article studies the problem of forming the terminological competence of future specialists in pedagogy, taking into account the integrative aspects of the academic disciplines Ukrainian Language for Professional Purposes, Modern Ukrainian Language with Practicum, Methodology of Teaching the Ukrainian Language, Mathematics, and Methodology of Teaching the Mathematical Field of Study. It is emphasized that the differentiated mastering of narrow-field terms at higher education institutions should be supported by their integrative functional load in the context of the future professional activity of students. Based on the analysis of the information space of the problem, the degree of its study in the context of the specified educational components has been determined. The definition of the concept of “terminological competence of primary school teachers” has been expanded considering the specifics of pedagogical activity in this field of study, namely: the need to master the theoretical aspects of terminology; normative use of pedagogical terminology in professional communication; productive mastery of the terms of all educational subjects of the New Ukrainian School; implementation of interdisciplinary connections during lessons by means of professional language; formation of the scientific worldview of primary school students based on the perfect use of relevant multidisciplinary terminology. In order to determine the vectors of formation of the terminological competence of future specialists in primary education, a chronological coordination of the content of linguistic and mathematical academic disciplines has been carried out, taking into account the structural and logical scheme of the educational and professional program Primary Education of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The need to improve the mathematical component of students’ terminological competence in the process of implementing the content of linguistic academic disciplines has been established, and the integrative opportunities of this vector of educational activity have been analyzed. The integrative potential of improving the linguistic component of students’ terminological competence in the process of implementing the content of mathematical educational disciplines is demonstrated.
