Summary/Abstract: The article presents ideas for applying strategies to develop skills for: planning a text; creation of reproductive text according to the Bulgarian language and literature 5th grade curriculum for education organized abroad. The strategies are aimed at forming competences (linguistic, literary, sociocultural, communicative) for: extracting informationfrom a text and presenting it with a certain communicative purpose; planning, construction linguistic and stylistic refinement of the text; compliance with the pragmatic characteristics of the communicative situation.
