Summary/Abstract: This article outlines the profile of the journalist Andrei Ileni (1955–2025) and highlights the fundamental characteristics of his writing. In addition to these aspects, it also analyzes his cultural texts included in Mașina de scrib (2017) and Scribul de marți (2024). An unconventional journalist, constantly preoccupied with both the form and content of his writings, Andrei Ileni was one of the journalists in Sibiu who revitalized—compositionally and critically—the discourse of journalism of opinion.
