The Pentecostal Church in the Republic of Poland as a subject of political science research

Summary/Abstract: Th e article deals with the issue of political science research on the Pentecostal Church environment in theRepublic of Poland. Th e axis of consideration is methodological aspects, especially the challenges arisingfrom the specifi city of the subject of inquiry. Th e paper contains an overview of analytical tools, includingan assessment of their usefulness in the research process. Th e authors lean towards the hermeneutic per-spective, which assumes understanding and interpreting the political refl ection present among Pentecostals.Furthermore, they address the issue, the limitation of sources, and barriers to quantitative research. Th eyalso point out that the construction of narratives requires substantial attention and caution, which stemsfrom the need to consider the essence of the religious association under analysis.
