Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses part of the works of the bagpiper Peter Yanev, who is one of the most eminent representatives of the Bulgarian bagpiping art, to which he made significant contributions with his work. Analyzed are some pieces demonstrating his beyond-of-the-local region determinism, subtlety in his knowledge of the dialect specifics and describe the technical and improvisational qualities of Peter Yanev.
