IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IDEA OF SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION IN THE POLISH WAREHOUSE REAL ESTATE MARKET

Summary/Abstract: The article refers to the key determinants and conditions of the phenomenon of sustainable construction and its scale in the Polish warehouse real estate market. The number and area of certified buildings were determined based on data from the reports of the Polish Ecological Building Association for the years 2017–2023. Attention was also paid to the issue of assessing their energy efficiency in the context of planned national legislative solutions in this regard. The results of the analyses indicate, among other things, dynamic changes in the scale of certification of warehouse buildings in Poland. This is one of the indicators of the degree of implementation of sustainable construction assumptions in this segment, which are consistent with the global idea of sustainable development.
