Summary/Abstract: Kriszta Kedves reports on the fifth edition of the Bukfeszt theatre festival, which took place in Bucharest between September 29 and October 7, 2025. The aim of the festival is to offer the Hungarian theatres of Romania an opportunity to showcase their work in the country’s capital. Feedback shows that the event, which is on its way to becoming a tradition, is gaining popularity, and Romanian audiences are increasingly open to the theatre languag(es) of these Hungarian performances. The reviewer seeks to answer the question whether Hungarian theatre companies manage to enrich the palette of theatrical languages in Romania.
