Summary/Abstract: Workplace stress affects the overall management process in the organization. Managing chronic stress leads to better mental and physical health. In recent years, emotional intelligence has been increasingly discussed as a factor in managing daily and chronic stress in managers. The object of the study in this article is the relationship between stress and emotional intelligence, the health of the manager and their impact on the team. The subject of the study are the approaches to develop and improve the emotional intelligence of the manager, his health and the positive aspect on the team. The purpose of this work is, based on an analysis of literary sources, to make a literature review of the concepts - stress at work, emotional intelligence, the relationship with the health of the manager, the impact of the emotional intelligence of the manager on the team. Conclusion: Emotionally intelligent managers are able to communicate clearly with their colleagues, give constructive feedback and resolve conflicts effectively. This is key to maintaining good team dynamics.
