Management Of Health Care As Part Of The Health System

Summary/Abstract: This study presents strategic management as a process through which all factors necessary for the sustainable functioning of the system are analysed and optimized, including financing, human resources and access to new technologies. The focus is placed on health care and its management in the context of an integrated approach, ensuring efficient and quality patient care. The object of study is health services as part of the healthcare system, and the subject matter is the specifics of their management. The goal is to outline the prospects for the strategic management of healthcare as part of the healthcare system in the context of modern challenges and existing paradigms for their management. The objective is decomposed into three research tasks: 1. Research and analysis of scientific literature to outline the prospects for the strategic management of health care in the context of contemporary challenges; 2. Study of the integrated approach to healthcare management as a tool for ensuring effective and high-quality care for patients; 3. Outlining the specifics of existing theories and models for healthcare management and deriving their key characteristics. As a result of the conducted scientific research, the conclusion is reached that the strategic management of the health system in the context of contemporary challenges requires a systematic integrated approach. Its application also implies the implementation of an adequate model for health care management, ensuring quality and equal access to services with limited public investments in health care.
