Summary/Abstract: The birth of Jazz is a phenomenon directly connected to the historical, cultural and social features of 19th century in the United American States territories. Musical and cultural revolution, which accredits jazz as a completely new music style, is a direct result of the Afro-American conflict led to the well-known American Civil War. The word Jazz is created in the early years of 20th century. It has always been a major problem either for musicians who play this music, or scientists who research it. In order to find a vast and detailed definition, one must enter the depths of musical, cultural, racial and political spheres. Recently jazz itself has gone very far from its past and has turned out to be one “original” form of art, which we can absolutely call “American classical music”.
