Summary/Abstract: The article traces the distinguishing features of the dialects spoken in the villages of Draginovo, Dorkovo, Kostandovo, and Rakitovo. The aim of the comparison is to determine whether the differences in the reflexes of Old Bulgarian vowels are reinforced by other features, and if so, which ones. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the phonetic distinctive traits between the dialects, some morphological peculiarities, and examples from a lexical perspective. In terms of syntactic characteristics, the studied villages differ only in the expression of the relationship in subordinate attributive clauses.
