Summary/Abstract: The article examines the development of antitank missile systems and their competition with loitering munition (kamikaze) drones. It demonstrates that while anti-tank missile systems remain reliable and effective at short and medium ranges, loitering munitions offer a new level of flexibility, deep-strike capability, and lower operational cost. The analysis concludes that the two systems are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary elements within a comprehensive anti-tank defense framework.
