Summary/Abstract: Migration is a reality that has existed throughout human history. However, with the evolving and globalizing world, the phenomenon of migration has also developed and become globalized. Migration has transformed from a small-scale movement to a large-scale international phenomenon. There are numerous reasons for migration at both local and international levels, along with various types depending on these reasons. This study examines labor migration at the international level and addresses the internationally recognized social security rights of migrants. At the beginning of the study, a definition of migration in the local context is provided, followed by a discussion of international migration and labor migration. The general reasons for migration are specifically discussed, with a more detailed exploration of the reasons for international labor migration. Subsequently, theoretical approaches related to labor migration are discussed, and theoretical explanations are provided. The study also addresses the phenomenon of social security that arises from all these factors, and finally, it elaborates on the international social security rights of migrants in detail.
