VENDING SYSTEM DESIGN FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION

Summary/Abstract: Within the scope of occupational health and safety, the correct and regular distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees is critical in terms of meeting legal requirements and strengthening the safety culture. As a solution to the time loss, lack of records, and control difficulties experienced in traditional PPE distribution processes, a digital PPE distribution automation system has been designed in this study. The impact of implementing the system, which features identity verification, real-time inventory tracking, and user-based reporting, on work processes was evaluated; significant improvements were observed, particularly in terms of traceability, time savings, and cost efficiency. The results show that digital vending systems make PPE management more effective and sustainable.
