Summary/Abstract: Under the dual influence of national cultural policy guidance and market aesthetic trends, traditional cultural elements have become “safe capital” in modern dance creation, but at the same time, they have also become an inertial reliance in creative thinking. However, localization is not simply about pasting traditional cultural elements onto modern dance; rather, it requires absorbing tradition as a foundation, integrating the connotations of Chinese traditional culture into the aesthetics of modern dance, and creating an artistic language that is both uniquely Chinese and capable of engaging in dialogue with the contemporary world.
