The 32 sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven performed by prof. Ivan Donchev – the first concert of the 2025 cycle – in Altidona (Italy) and in Plovdiv (at the AMTII)

Summary/Abstract: Playing all 32 sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven, and by heart, is impressive. Pianist Prof. Ivan Donchev performed them last year in the city of Formello, Italy, and this year he started them again almost simultaneously in Altidona, Italy, as well as in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. I share my impressions from the video recordings of the two „identical“ first concerts with the 3 sonatas op. 2 – on April 6 at the Academy „Maria Malibran“ in the city of Altidona and on May 3 at the AMTII „Prof. Asen Diamandiev“ in Plovdiv.
