CRIMINAL OFFENSE OF ROBBERY – FIVE YEARS OF PRACTICE OF COURTS IN THE HERZEGOVINA-NERETVA CANTON

Summary/Abstract: The authors address current issues related to the commission of the criminal offense of robbery, committed by adults in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, during the period from 2018 to 2022. The paper presents some basic concepts related to property crime, the legal regulation of the criminal offense of robbery in the entity legislations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the criminalization of robbery in comparative legislation. The paper also provides a special focus on the results of the research conducted at the municipal courts and the cantonal court of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, aiming to depict the state and trends of this criminal offense in a specific micro-location.
