Summary/Abstract: This study applies Prospective Structural Analysis to identify and evaluate key variables across the PMESII domains to support advanced military operations planning. First, a panel of military experts validates the initial variable set. Next, the same group examines the interrelationships among variables to capture systemic dynamics. The validated data are then processed using MICMAC software, which classifies variables by influence, dependence, and strategic importance. The resulting influence –dependence maps highlight critical drivers and leverage points that can inform decision-making, scenario development, and the refinement of PMESII variable lists, which remain non-exhaustive in the current literature. The findings demonstrate how structural analysis can enhance understanding of complex operational environments and strengthen planning processes. The study concludes by proposing future research directions aimed at improving military systems analysis and predictive modelling.
