Summary/Abstract: On the threshold of the space era, humanity faces several fundamental challenges that will lay the foundation for space colonization. These challenges should not be viewed solely through the lens of technological development. It is necessary to consider the moral and ethical paradigms that humanity will transport beyond our planet and upon which the foundations of future space civilization will be built. Art brings these issues to the forefront, highlighting the relevance of our value system. Through a multidisciplinary approach, artists popularize scientific discoveries by emphasizing humanity and its definition. The incorporation of art centers into scientific laboratories generates creativity and supports the scientific process. This paper aims to present an overview of best practices in the interaction between space research and art, emphasizing the role of art organizations in promoting innovation and their contribution to sustainable development and the ethical integration of scientific discoveries in the context of space colonization.
