Summary/Abstract: The paper is free refl ection on the present state of research on the literature and culture of the Enlightenment, as well as a review of publications concerning the Enlightenment literature and culture. The paper shows a gradual change in the areas of interest of researchers from different generations, the most important scientifi c achievements and the problems that their successors have to face.
