Summary/Abstract: Mother Teresa’s life in the slums of Calcutta continues to inspire admiration to this day. The article presents the theological profile of her Marian spirituality in the perspective of contemporary Mariology and saints’ spirituality. The topic is timely given the growing interest in the theological dimension of the lives of saints and the sources of charisms. The study employs analysis of Scripture, Te-resa’s writings and correspondence, Church documents, and mariological and bi-ographical scholarship. In subsequent sections the author discusses: the theologi-cal image of Mary in Teresa’s experience; the Marian style of her life and ministry (in the light of the fiat and the Magnificat); and the significance of entrustment to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The structure moves from theological foundations to concrete forms of daily life.
