Summary/Abstract: The exchange of data in electronic form has many advantages compared to other methods. Terms such as electronic document, electronic signature, electronic identification fully encompass the concept of digital transformation, where public administration is increasingly moving towards the provision of electronic services and the use of electronic identification. This provides an additional opportunity to access services securely and conveniently, without respecting and guaranteeing identity in physical cyberspace. Despite the undeniable benefits, the introduction and maintenance of electronic identification systems in the public sector is inextricably linked to complex security challenges. From potential data breaches and identity theft to unauthorized access to sensitive information, the risks are significant and can undermine trust in the administration. Here, security management in electronic identification in public administration comes to the fore - an area that can be defined as critical, guaranteeing the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and services
