Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to observe Denmark’s progress in the e-government focusing mainly on the historical development, the key stages and the impact of digital initiatives. We have conducted a review of the institutional, legal, and strategic framework that regulate the e-government. The study gives emphasis on the effectiveness of digital services and the integration of modern technologies in thegovernance by exploring digital systems, platforms and portals. All this makes Denmark a global example of an innovative and user-oriented model of e-government.
