Summary/Abstract: The subject addressed is a very current one, because the coercion of a person, by threat or other illegal acts, with the aim of obtaining statements represents the phenomenon that alarms the entire society. Obtaining statements by coercion, threat or other illegal acts attacks very important social values and social relations, which are related to the administration of justice, in terms of not admitting the coercion of persons participating in the criminal process to commit actions that do not correspond to their will, as well as the psychological/moral freedom of the person. The importance of the study consists in carrying out a comprehensive research and analysis of the aspects regarding the analysis of national and international legal regulations regarding the crime of coercion to make statements. The aforementioned determined the need to undertake this study, which is of current relevance and importance.
