Summary/Abstract: Along with the emphasis on the mythological aspects of the goddess Athena, we look towards one of the most representative texts of ancient Greek literature, Homer's Iliad, while examining the ancient religious thought put forward by the author in his creation. In other words, we try to confirm based on the text of the Iliad the theory supported by many historians regarding the importance of “the goddes with gleaming eyes”.
