Summary/Abstract: Epilepsy is a complex condition, having a profound impact on the emotional and social life of affected individuals, requiring a multidisciplinary approach for effective seizure management and improving quality of life. In this article, we aim to provide some original impressions of systematic research on education, psychological and social interventions in epilepsy, within the National Center for Epileptology of the Republic of Moldova. Developing a substantial base of specific, evidence-based interventions, including coping skills, that enhance the adaptation and quality of life of people with epilepsy, with the aim of subsequent inclusion in modern and effective therapeutic programs targeting people with epilepsy. Psychological assistance, continuing education and public awareness are essential for combating stigma and promoting social inclusion, improving quality of life.
