Summary/Abstract: Equality and non-discrimination are principles to which the civilized world tries to give substance in social practice, despite historical traditions that have enshrined gender, racial, religious, political, etc. inequalities. The progressive current of the last 7-8 decades has driven public policies dedicated to changing the inegalitarian paradigm, one of the areas of maximum impact being that of employment relations. Thus, the relevant rules laid down by the International Labor Organization Conventions have found their way into national legislation and then into collective bargaining agreements.
