Summary/Abstract: The transformation of the Italian party sytem in 1992, after the so-called Tangentopoli, decided the dislocation of the main Italian parties in relatively new places. The Christian democratic party was disappared, and new party formations were emerged, like Forza Italia (with Berlusconi) and the regional extremist Lega Nord (with Bossi). The former neofascist Movimento Sociale Italiano had lost the traditional orientation and became a central wing party with Fini. Other little extrem right parties were formed like Azione Sociale, Forza Nuova, Fronte Sociale Nazionale, Movimento Sociale Fiamma Tricolore, Movimento Fascismo e Libertà and Movimento Nazionalpopolare. These parties are not in the Parliement. There were also extrem right armed organisations like Gladio and P2, organized by Italian and international Intelligence Services for contrast the possibility of Italian left wing government. The author of the study is convinced that the Italian First Republic was for a longue period a State with “souveregnity limited”.
