Summary/Abstract: This study examines the impact of e-commerce adoption on multiple dimensions of performance of SMEs in the hospitality sector in Romania. Based on the updated version of the DeLone and McLean Model of IT Success in the Industry, the research defines the quality of e-commerce solutions as a second-order construct, composed of information, system and service quality. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analysed using structural equation modelling (SmartPLS 4). The analysis uses the variance-based structural equation method and the results highlight that the qualitative level of e-commerce solutions positively influences marketing and operations performance, but has no direct effect on financial performance. This result confirms that the use of technology generates value only when it is strategically integrated into organisational processes.
