Summary/Abstract: The study deals with the different areas of life of Rusyns in the Spiš region between 1989 and 2020. The paper firstly focuses on the activities of the Rusyns after the Velvet Revolution and political parties that have included Rusyns issues in their program. Subsequently, the study deals with the re-emigration of Rusyns from Ukraine to Slovakia and Spiš. Then attention is paid to the employment of the Rusyns in Spiš. The religious question of the Spiš Rusyns, with an emphasis on the solution of the Greek-Catholic-Orthodox dispute, is the subject of the next part. Subsequently, the paper deals with the language and education of Rusyns in the region. The last, most extensive part of the study, deals with the cultural activities of the Spiš Rusyns.
