Summary/Abstract: In an era where the globalization of culture has become an undeniable phenomenon, crucial for understanding the increasingly complex reality of recent decades, it is hardly surprising to see a literary approach from the perspective of mathematical or quantum physics theories. This article proposes, more than one hundred years after the appearance of Panait Istrati's Chira Chiralina, a look at the text from the angle of Mandelbrot's theory, within the broader context of a fractal vision of the ontological. The article will focus on concepts such as the zoomic technique of constructing the meta-novel, fractal space and self, internal homothety, and non-li nearity. This analysis attempts to argue that the texts of one of the few Romanian writers known beyond the country's borders, even after a century, still reveal to the reader the image of a world in continuous motion - a chaos ordered by the author's narrative art and by the intellectual particularities of the reader.
