Summary/Abstract: The article proposes a comprehensive analysis of how Radu Stanca's poetry reflects on time as an existential, poetic, and metaphysical dimension. Starting from romantic, symbolist, and modernist influences, it argues that temporality is configured in Radu Stanca's work in a dual form: as a destructive, irreversible force, but also as a space of suspension, internalization, and transcendence. Key concepts such as monadic time—understood as a subjective, self-referential form of duration—are highlighted, and the presence of the privileged moment as a point of tension between potentiality and fulfillment is analyzed. Various manifestations of temporality—from historical and everyday time to mythical and sacred time—are illustrated through interpretations of emblematic texts ("The Arrival of the Moment," "Buffalo Bill," "The Leaves," "The Fox," "The Sun Rises").
