“Quarterly Journal of the History of Science and Technology” (1956–1965) in the “Isis” Bibliography of the History of Science: An Exploratory Study

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the materials from the “Quarterly Journal of the History of Science and Technology” (covering the years 1956–1965) which can be found in the current bibliography of the history of science published in “Isis. An International Review Devoted to the History of Science and Its Cultural Influences”. It discusses the contents of the Isis Critical Bibliography (1956–1965, 10 vols.), the Isis Cumulative Bibliography 1913–1965 (5 vols.), and the Isis Cumulative Bibliography 1966–1975 (2 vols.), as works from the 1965 volume of the “Quarterly Journal” were included in both volumes of the latter. This study is the first in a planned series of analyses concerning the presence of Polish publications in these bibliographies.
