Summary/Abstract: The article aims to present an outline of the biography of the aristocrat Kazimierz Lubomirski, who – in addition to conducting business – was involved in diplomacy and politics. Prince Kazimierz, like his older brother, grew up in a home where the memory of his grandfather Andrzej Zamoyski, an industrialist from the Kingdom of Poland, was cultivated. Both brothers were involved in industrial affairs in Galicia. It must be taken into account that many other effects at this stage were separated from the older brother, Andrew. Kazimierz was mainly active in the forestry industry, creating various companies that were part thereof. He regularly leased his estates, most often to Jews. He was diplomatically active for the first time as a Polish envoy in Washington. There he had his first meeting with the American entrepreneurs. When he returned to Poland, he was a supporter of industrial liberalism. Sport was equally important to the prince, which he confirmed when he became the president of the Polish Olympic Committee.
