Interview with doc. PhDr. Ludmila Čírtková, CSc. Dr.h.c.

Summary/Abstract: We bring you an interview with Ms. Doc. PhDr. Ludmila Čírtková, CSc., Dr. h. c., a forensic psychologist and court expert who collaborates in the clarification and investigation of serious crime. She worked at the Police Academy in Prague as the head of the Department of Social Sciences and for eight years as vice-rector. She currently lectures at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University, the Faculty of Law of Charles University and the Hussite Faculty of Theology, where she teaches the subject "relational violence". She works at the White Circle Security as a member of the board and provides psychological assistance to victims of crime. She is the author of many books. She participated in the creation of Act No. 135/2006 Coll. on protection from domestic violence. As an expert in victimology, she contributed to the creation of the Act on Victims of Crime.
