Theaim of this paper is to evaluate the potential of selected commonlyavailable psychological tests as tools to support career counsellingand the initial assessment of uniformed personnel program classstudents’ predisposition to work in uniformed services. Based onthe analysis, the author indicates that selected psychological tests, although originally designed for civilian use, can provide valuableinformation about personality traits and competencies relevantto the uniformed services.
