ИЗСЛЕДВАНЕ НА ПОТРЕБНОСТТА ОТ ПОДКРЕПА ПРИ ИЗВЪРШВАНЕ НА ДЕЙНОСТИ ОТ ЕЖЕДНЕВИЕТО ПРИ ЛИЦА ОТ РИСКОВИ ГРУПИ СРЕД ЖИТЕЛИТЕ НА ОБЩИНА ЗАВЕТ, ОБЛАСТ РАЗГРАД
RESEARCH THE NEED FOR EXECUTION SUPPORT ON ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIFE FOR PERSONS FROM RISK GROUPS AMONG THE RESIDENTS OF ZAVET MUNICIPALITY, RAZGRAD DISTRICT

Summary/Abstract: Activities of daily life are basic activities related to the satisfaction of a person's basic life needs - provision of food, medicinal products, maintenance of personal hygiene and hygiene of the inhabited dwelling. These are basic needs, and the degree of disability (physical and/or mental) of a person and the degree of need for help can be determined by the level of independent performance. The article presents research conducted in the months of March and April 2022 among risk groups of the population of Zavet municipality, Razgrad region, Bulgaria. The study found that the risk groups among the population of the mentioned municipality are children and persons with illnesses and/or disabilities and elderly and old people living alone. The purpose of the research is to establish to what extent these persons are able to cope independently with the following activities of daily life: maintaining the hygiene of the dwelling they live in, maintaining personal hygiene independently, purchasing basic food products independently and preparing food for yourself. The results of the conducted research outline the tendency that persons from the specified risk groups cannot independently carry out the specified activities or do so with significant difficulties. This is a definite indicator of a reduced quality of life in the studied group of persons. In the municipality of Zavet, social services, provided in a home environment, have been opened and are functioning. In this way, the municipality ensures that the persons from the specified risk groups receive help and support in meeting basic needs.
