Summary/Abstract: The need for international cooperation among armed forces has become increasingly apparent in the 21 century. The increase in multinational military missions led to the identification of a number of potential areas of conflict or stress between collaborating countries. This article delves into the imperative for military personnel to not only be at the forefront of technological prowess and military expertise but also to possess a profound command of the English language and a multicultural awareness that transcends borders. The article addresses interoperability and introduces two vital components: linguistic interoperability and cultural interoperability.
