Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a brief overview of the factors and primary sources that shape urban narratives about Bratislava and the literature on urban narrative research on the city to date. Its aim is to provide a basis and perspectives for research into the narratives of Bratislava in history textbooks in primary and secondary schools in Czechoslovakia and Hungary between 1918 and 1939.
