Summary/Abstract: Migration has long been a catalyst for cultural exchange, identity negotiation, and societal transformation. This article examines how contemporary migration influences national identity by reshaping linguistic landscapes, religious practices, and social norms, while also generating new forms of hybrid culture. Drawing on historical precedents and recent interdisciplinary research, the study situates migration within broader political, economic, and environmental contexts, highlighting both integrative and divisive outcomes. Case studies from Europe, Asia, and the Americas illustrate how migrant communities contribute to cultural innovation yet also provoke debates over belonging and national cohesion. The analysis employs theories of cultural hybridization, assimilation, and multiculturalism to explain varying policy responses and public attitudes. Ultimately, the article argues that migration is not merely a demographic shift but a transformative force that redefines a nation’s self-conception in an interconnected world.
