Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse and provide a solution on how children from third countries and implicitly those who are placed under international protection can find their family, once they arrive in a Member State of European Union. In this paper, we set out to review the applicable international legal framework, human rights framework and the EU framework. Of the three plans, we focused on the human rights plan, namely the right to family life and the union plan, respectively the legislation on the right to family reunification. Finally, given the context from which the interest in this topic started, namely the intertwinement of childcare institutions from other legal systems and from different cultures, we tried to offer a solution with applicability throughout the European space.
