Summary/Abstract: In the context of an obviously deficient national legislation, despite the great actual interest on the respective subject, the following paper was made for the purpose of briefly revealing the social and juridical implications of the phenomenon of plagiarism, but also in order to analyse the connection of this topic with the copyright legislation, at the same time aiming to clarify the considerable controversy among the publish literature.
