Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) applications offer significant opportunities in psychiatric nursing, particularly in patient safety, risk prediction, and clinical decision-making. However, integration requires careful consideration of ethical responsibilities and professional competencies. This study aimed to examine the impact of AI applications on ethics, patient safety, and nurses’ attitudes in psychiatric nursing. A document analysis and descriptive content analysis were conducted on quantitative studies published between 2020 and 2025. Three eligible studies were thematically analyzed. Results: Findings indicated that AI improves nurses’ knowledge and attitudes through education, enhances patient safety, and raises ethical concerns during integration. AI in psychiatric nursing should be approached not only as a technological innovation but also within ethical and professional dimensions. Education, ethical guidelines, pilot implementations, and multidisciplinary collaboration are key to sustainable integration.
