Summary/Abstract: This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the right to social security under Article 67 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. Subsequently, it discusses the legal construct of a Universal Basic Income, which has, in recent years, attracted the attention of both public policy theoreticians and practitioners worldwide. Finally, it attempts to juxtapose the constitutional model of the right to social security with the idea of a universal basic income, which is gaining popularity. The aim of this article is to show the constitutional aspects of a basic income in the context of Article 67 of the Constitution.
