Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses and offers possibilities for the development of pupils' musical-aesthetic taste through a new textbook on the subject of Music Education, which is intended for the 8th grade of primary schools. The textbook focuses on the integration of various musical-artistic forms that systematically promote pupils' aesthetic perception and creative expression. Through active listening to music, the creation of their own musical works and experimental approaches to music, as well as the analysis and interpretation of different musical genres and styles, it leads pupils to a deeper understanding of musical art. The textbook also promotes an interdisciplinary approach that connects music with visual arts, literature, and other educational fields, thereby enriching students' aesthetic and cultural knowledge. This approach contributes to the development of pupils' ability to evaluate and create musical works, thereby strengthening their musical taste and artistic sensitivity.
