Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the bill to amend the Act on Renewable Energy Sources contains a conclusion thatmost of the solutions proposed in the bill are necessary from the point of view of the implemen‑tation of EU law. It was pointed out that the bill does not contain detailed provisions on: equaltreatment of recipients, balancing the interests of energy recipients and energy companies, cross-subsidisation in the activity of energy sellers or the definition of an industrial recipient. The need todefine the scope of possible support for undertakings in this field in connection with the require‑ments of the amended EP and Council Directive on the promotion of the use of energy from renew‑able sources (the so-called RED II) was emphasised.
