Summary/Abstract: The article provides a summary of essential information about fentanyl and its derivatives, which are essential for the intervention activities of individual components of the Integrated Rescue System. Emphasis is placed on the possibilities of abuse, toxicological properties, manifestations of intoxication, methods of providing first aid, personal protection, detection, decontamination and disposal of these highly toxic substances. The issue of fentanyl is an international and social problem, which is solved up to the level of presidents of world powers.
