Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the issue of Lemko service in the ranks of the Germanauxiliary police formation during World War II – Ukrainische Hilfspolizei. According tosource materials, it seems established that at least 42 Lemkos enlisted for such service.The presented results may revise the long-standing view that Lemkos (with the main ex-ception of the inhabitants of the so-called Eastern Lemko Region) refrained from activitiesassociated with Ukrainians during World War II.
